Great unpowered site for family … We have four children ranging from 4 months to 6 years old. We LOVED this camp ground. It has a BABY BATH area, that includes a (baby) bath, shower and toilet.  So we could bath the baby, and the older children could have a shower.  The camp kitchen includes a BBQ, 2 stove tops, microwave, fridge and toaster.  The showers and toilets were very clean and they even have an area with swings, surrounded by nature play! Our kids were so disappointed that we were leaving!  The laundry had pegs and wash baskets that we could use and washing machines that included powder!  As well as washing lines.  We were a stone’s throw from the steam train and the town centre.  (mumoffour)

Sustainable Oasis … To arrive in this shady park with its natural vegetation and beautifully maintained facilities was a highlight of my recent road trip. The sites are large and the trees and shrubs are used to great advantage in the scenic impact of the park and as a habitat for birds.  Bronwyn and Gary have achieved so much since they took over this place (I saw the before and after photos) and I really enjoyed my time with them.  I wish more Australian van parks would follow their lead and enrich the whole camping experience in this natural and sustainable way.  (lightfan)

Stayed with other members of a bushwalking club.  We are all thrilled with the welcoming, friendly owners, Bronwyn & Gary and the lovely park they operate.  Excellent, clean facilities, laundry, lounge, camp kitchen.  Great garden setting, birds, fire pit, tourist information.  Enjoyed our visit to Quorn immensely.  (Mel)

Bronwyn & Gary are an inspirational couple and their love and care for the environment is reflected in this beautiful park.  As cyclists and campers we appreciated the hot showers, clothes washing facilities, functional kitchen and the small warm lounge area that’s provided.  All of this is set in a most delightful natural area which is home to an amazing number of bird species.  The Park is just a short walk into the centre of historic Quorn and it’s well worth taking the time to visit some of the historic buildings.  Keep up the fantastic work guys and thank you so very, very much for the fabulous stay.  (Margy)

Great owners who are always improving the grounds.  The showers, toilets, immaculate.  Good camp kitchen.  The tall gum trees a haven for birds and shade in summer.  A short walk across railway lines to town.  Three cafes plus an interesting town to walk through.  Love this spot.  (Jeni)

Very friendly owners who are very environmentally focussed, beautiful bush landscape, super clean facilities and it was lovely to wake early in the morning to see a possum mum and her baby scamper back to the safety of their gum tree.  (Robyn)

Warm greeting, easy access sites, close proximity to town, clean amenities, great camp kitchen. Every camper here this weekend was of the same opinion; this is a really good park. A place that makes you feel like it’s time to relax. (TrevJules)

Spent five nights in this historic little town. The caravan park provided a sheltered site for our van; amenities were spotless; staff cheerful and helpful. Within easy walking distance of the business area of town, with its many interesting and historic sites; lots of eating places. Also easy driving distance to those wishing to explore further in the Flinders Ranges. Made even better this stay by the local Music Muster. (Leena)

Peaceful, natural setting which could be considered ’boutique’ compared with chain CPs we have sadly grown used to. Basic amenities were kept spotless by friendly staff using sustainable methods. Bronwyn & Gary are sensitive custodians in a semi-arid environment. Thriving native plantings supported warbling birdlife in the hottest April weather on record. In the early morning chill, I loved the warm glow from the spacious wood-lined shared dining room/kitchen. At night under the magnificent gum trees, it was great to share next day’s plans with other travellers around the fire pit. The overall vibe of my 11-day stay was totally in keeping with the Flinders Ranges feel I sought within a short distance from Adelaide. (Rose)

2014

After having enjoyed our stay in 2011 with my wife, I returned with pleasure this time with my friend, Werni. We appreciated again the friendly welcome and the great hospitality. Quite exceptional was to find somebody we could speak to in German, which was helpful for the various hints and advices regarding hiking, trip itineraries and even helping us finding somebody to repair our car. Great, in every respect.

A nice place with lot of commitment for the environment and for the well being of their customers.

2013

I’ve stayed at the park several times over the past few years.
Gary and Bronwyn have done a great job of steadily improving the grounds, introducing the BBQ area and so on. And the cabins are always neat, comfortable and well-tended.
But my particular delight in this place is in the absolute commitment which Bron and Gary show to managing the park so that it’s both environmentally sustainable and healthy for its visitors.
Our oldest daughter suffers from multiple chemical sensitivity and over the years I’ve come to know many people like her. We’ve faced real challenges on family holidays looking for places where there are no carpets, (formaldehyde etc.) scented bathroom products, scented/toxic cleaning solutions, scented sheets and so on … So they clean with vinegar, use non-fragranced soaps and do all they can to keep the cabins free from chemicals. This has been a mighty effort and I know of only one other place – by repute – in South Australia, where there’s such attention to this.
I wish there were more places like the Quorn Caravan Park. (Peter C., South Australia)

Thank you again for your kind hospitality. I have stayed here on a number of occasions and consider the park one of the best in Australia, having travelled extensively in the country.
The town is beautiful; the park superb. You are welcoming, friendly, discreet hosts and the facilities are excellent, clean (to a standard higher than most) and attractive. (Mike, NSW)

2012

Stayed six nights in a 2-bedroom cabin. On arrival cabin sparkled with cleanliness. Booking the cabin was easy – very friendly and helpful responses and made us feel we were welcome to come and stay in the park. (Edna, Victoria)

Great to have lots of old growth trees in the park. Very friendly and helpful staff. Like what they are trying to achieve with ecologically sustainable practices. Like home away from home with extended family. (Pete, South Australia)

Very welcoming reception. Good suggestion for things to see in the area, especially the two native gardens. Very clean. (Graham & Wendy, Victoria)

Lovely park, well run, great location. Love the bird life. (Oliver, South Australia)

2011

For $20 I had a million dollar experience at Quorn CP. In 4800 km, 8 weeks of travelling and 16 caravan parks, this one was the nicest by a huge margin. Cleanliness of facilities was immaculate, kitchen area the best I’ve seen, clean spotless and fresh. The natural beauty of this park added immensely to my experience. Beautiful gums, kangaroos, birds and garden … even a vegetable garden! (Bronwyn, Western Australia)

The BEST laundry in any caravan park we have stayed in. It is the ONLY one with a ‘BAR’. Good for the blokes to get in touch with their feminine side and have a beer while doing the washing. (Ron & Pat, New South Wales)

Bronwyn and Gary are excellent hosts, mines of information about the town, the area and the environment. The facilities are spotlessly clean and work perfectly in a lovely tree and bird-filled park. We love the sustainable approach to the operation of the park and their plans for the future. We would highly recommend the caravan park and the town to everyone. (Kate and Warwick, New South Wales)

The booklet produced for the park is excellent. I was overwhelmed by the spectacular views and beauty of the park (The Dutchmans Stern Conservation Park) and the diversity within the park. Have just begun my visit to the Flinders Ranges and what an inspiration today was. So, so, so much natural beauty. In my opinion, South Australia is the best and most interesting State in Australia. There is so much on offer, so much to enjoy and be in awe of. I love South Australia. More ECO Parks please! (Iris, Victoria)

2010

Wonderful natural environment. Lovely to have so many birds around. All ablution facilities were spotless – washing machines definitely new world. Made to feel 100% welcome with our dogs – so rare these days. This park is definitly more than a 3 star park. We have travelled all over Australia and this park we rate second best. (AB & C, Western Australia)

Gary & Bronwyn have improved the park immensely. Always enjoy our stay, particularly this time as they have done so much to improve. Very friendly and helpful. Great laundry! (Helen & Neil, Melbourne)

We are now back from our one month in Australia and would like to say that your campground was far and away the best one of the 14 campgrounds that we experienced between Alice Springs and Melbourne!!!

We loved the town, the setting, your reception and everything about your facilities! (Anne, Rhode Island, USA)

2005-09

Your caravan park was the best park that we stayed at for our entire Flinders trip! (Kathy, Adelaide)

The time spent at your caravan park was most enjoyable and helped set the stage for the hospitality of people in the Flinders Ranges area. Your friendly and helpful advice about the best ways to make the most of the area was most appreciated. Such was the environment that we felt as though we were in a National Park but with full facilities. Thank you for looking after us so well. (Phil & Charmaine, New South Wales)

We so enjoyed your hospitality, sparkly shower block, clean BBQs and peaceful, shady area.
A true caravan PARK! (Rosie, Tasmania)

Place of knowledge and kindness, thank you. (Conano & Spartcon, New South Wales)

Great shop. Love the kangaroos. (Samuel, aged 7)

Ein compliment for die hervorragende Sanberkeit der “Nasszeilen”. Das Beste seit 2 Monaten in Australien. Danke! (Anton & Hermine, Germany)
